Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Denver, CO. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in the defense of Medical Malpractice and General Liability cases. This full-time, on-site position offers the opportunity to work closely with a dynamic team of experienced litigators.

Duties

• Manage a diverse caseload and conduct thorough legal research.
• Draft legal documents and provide expert legal advice to clients.
• Assist in case strategy development and negotiate settlements.
• Prepare and attend court proceedings.
• Engage in pre-trial and trial work, motion practice, and depositions.
• Conduct case assessment and management, and draft and respond to discovery.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of experience in Medical Malpractice and General Liability defense.
• Licensed to practice law in Colorado; additional licensure in New Mexico, Wyoming, or Arizona preferred.
• Excellent research and writing skills; law review or similar experience preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced legal environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Active Colorado Law License.
