Duties

• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Organize and maintain case files, ensuring accurate and timely filing.
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather necessary information.
• Prepare trial exhibits and assist with trial preparation.
• Manage deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and procedures.
• Engage in negotiations and settlement discussions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an attorney, preferably in personal injury law.
• Strong knowledge of litigation processes and legal terminology.
• Familiarity with personal injury law.
• Proficiency in legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.
• Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft clear and concise legal documents.
• Strong negotiation skills with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Prior experience in a law office setting is preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
