Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a Lateral White Collar Criminal Defense Associate Attorney with a minimum of 1+ year of white-collar criminal and government investigations experience. Duties:

• Represent clients in white-collar criminal defense matters and government investigations.
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to white-collar crimes and government regulations.
• Draft legal documents, including briefs, motions, and pleadings.
• Assist in all phases of litigation, from case inception to resolution.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to the North Carolina State Bar or eligible for admission.
• Minimum of 1+ years of white-collar criminal defense and government investigations experience in a law firm setting or relevant experience as a prosecutor or public defender.
• Strong understanding of criminal law, procedures, and regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the North Carolina State Bar, or eligibility for admission.
