The candidate will be responsible for Third Party Collections of Homeowners Association dues. Collections of delinquent assessments owed to Associations. Initial First contact with homeowners who are delinquent on their homeowner’s association dues. Monitor payment plans. Make sure payment arrangements are met in a timely manner and the payment plan is followed. Manage collection work flow with regards to collections letters, suits, FiFa’s and garnishments. Drafting and preparation of legal documents, such as Complaints, Applications for Default Judgment, Motions for Summary Judgment and Motions to Compel Discovery and discovery responses. Assisting the Attorneys and Chief Operating Officer with other legal matters and projects. Assisting attorneys in litigation, including counterclaims, court documents, scheduling of court hearings and hearing preparation. Handles client inquiries and updates pertaining to individual files. Maintains files, hearing notices, agendas, calendar, etc. for attorney. Follow up with courts and other legal departments regarding filed documents and hearings. Filing and other duties as required by the attorneys and department.
