Job Overview:
A well-established law firm in Houston, TX is looking to add an experienced Associate Attorney to their team. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity to manage a diverse caseload, provide sound legal counsel, and contribute to a fast-paced legal environment.

Duties:

• Provide expert legal advice and counsel to clients in various areas of law
• Manage a full docket of cases and handle them from inception through resolution
• Conduct thorough legal research and draft legal documents
• Engage in negotiations on behalf of clients
• Represent clients in court, mediations, and hearings
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to ensure effective case management
• Stay updated on legal developments and trends within relevant practice areas

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of legal experience, with a focus on litigation
• Previous experience in construction litigation is advantageous
• Proven ability to conduct legal research and provide strategic advice
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the State Bar of Texas

Skills:
