Duties

• Conduct discovery, evaluate liability and damages, and prepare cases for trial.
• Make court appearances and argue motions.
• Draft motion papers and appellate briefs.
• Participate in bench trials.
• Negotiate settlements.
• Work independently and in teams to complete projects.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree.
• Licensed to practice law in both the State of New Jersey and New York.
• Ability to stay organized and meet rigid deadlines.

Preferred qualifications

• 2-5 years of general litigation experience.
• Courtroom experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including active listening, negotiation, and persuasion.
• Excellent analytical skills, including critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making.
• Well-developed written communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor degree.
