A law firm seeks a talented attorney at the associate or counsel level with at least 5 years of experience in environmental and real estate law to join its practice group in Boston, MA. The candidate should possess deep knowledge of Massachusetts environmental law and a proven track record in advising on land use, zoning, and regulatory permitting matters.

Duties

• Advise clients on land use, zoning, and regulatory permitting matters.
• Navigate complex local and state permitting processes.
• Provide strategic counsel on regulatory compliance.
• Counsel clients on environmental risks and liabilities in real estate and business transactions.
• Engage in work related to RCRA, CERCLA, and agency enforcement actions.
• Handle real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and development agreements.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in environmental and real estate law.
• Strong knowledge of Massachusetts environmental law.
• Experience with land use, zoning, and regulatory permitting.
• Background in RCRA, CERCLA, and agency enforcement actions.
• General real estate transactional experience preferred.

Education

• JD required.

Certifications

• Admission to the Massachusetts Bar.

Skills
