A highly respected Florida-based litigation firm is seeking a seasoned Medical Malpractice Attorney to lead complex medical malpractice and nursing home abuse cases from pre-suit through trial. Duties:
Manage a full caseload of medical malpractice and nursing home abuse cases from intake to verdict
Serve as first-chair trial attorney, handling all aspects of trial preparation and execution
Conduct depositions, mediations, hearings, and arbitrations
Develop and present persuasive case strategies, including PowerPoint presentations during mediations
Collaborate with firm staff and legal teams to ensure timely and effective case progression
Maintain consistent communication with clients and medical experts
Uphold the highest standards of ethics, advocacy, and professionalism in every case
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience litigating Medical Malpractice and Nursing Home Abuse cases in Florida
Demonstrated first-chair trial experience
In-depth understanding of the Florida Evidence Code and Florida Rules of Civil Procedure
Proven ability to manage complex litigation independently
Commitment to justice, strong advocacy skills, and a client-first mindset
Availability to work in a full-time, demanding litigation role
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar
Skills:
Strong litigation and courtroom skills
High level of attention to detail and organization
Excellent written and oral communication abilities
Skilled in trial strategy, negotiation, and case management
Confident and persuasive in high-stakes legal settings
Competitive, determined, and capable of performing under pressure
