A highly respected Florida-based litigation firm is seeking a seasoned Medical Malpractice Attorney to lead complex medical malpractice and nursing home abuse cases from pre-suit through trial. Location:

• Tampa, Florida

Duties:

• Manage a full caseload of medical malpractice and nursing home abuse cases from intake to verdict

• Serve as first-chair trial attorney, handling all aspects of trial preparation and execution

• Conduct depositions, mediations, hearings, and arbitrations

• Develop and present persuasive case strategies, including PowerPoint presentations during mediations

• Collaborate with firm staff and legal teams to ensure timely and effective case progression

• Maintain consistent communication with clients and medical experts

• Uphold the highest standards of ethics, advocacy, and professionalism in every case

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience litigating Medical Malpractice and Nursing Home Abuse cases in Florida

• Demonstrated first-chair trial experience

• In-depth understanding of the Florida Evidence Code and Florida Rules of Civil Procedure

• Proven ability to manage complex litigation independently

• Commitment to justice, strong advocacy skills, and a client-first mindset

• Availability to work in a full-time, demanding litigation role

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar

Skills:

• Strong litigation and courtroom skills

• High level of attention to detail and organization

• Excellent written and oral communication abilities

• Skilled in trial strategy, negotiation, and case management

• Confident and persuasive in high-stakes legal settings
