We are hiring on behalf of a prestigious law firm in Tampa, Florida, seeking a driven and experienced Associate Attorney to join their insurance defense team. The firm provides legal representation to individuals and companies across Florida in a variety of cases, including personal injury, medical malpractice, automobile negligence, and premises liability. Duties:

• Investigate facts and develop case strategies.
• Collect and organize case records.
• Collaborate with clients throughout case proceedings.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Prepare for trial, including drafting legal motions and necessary documents.
• Represent clients in insurance defense matters, such as personal injury, medical malpractice, and premises liability cases.

Requirements:

• 3 to 7 years of legal practice experience.
• Active Bar license in the State of Florida (required).
• Previous experience in personal injury law or insurance defense preferred.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Florida Bar license (required).

Skills:

• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client collaboration.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently or within a team.
• Trial preparation and litigation experience.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Pay: Starting from $80,000 per year.
