The candidate will draft bankruptcy petitions, conduct legal research, and move cases forward in a timely and efficient manner. Oversee overall bankruptcy department cases. Prepare Bankruptcy petitions, client correspondence, draft pleadings, etc.. Prepare weekly status reports. Prepare files for court hearings. Meet with clients in person or via zoom. Manage court docket. Organize and maintain case files. Work with lawyers on all aspects of client matters. Completion of a nationally-accredited paralegal program is strongly preferred. Should have 3+ years of legal service experience under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting. Bankruptcy experience is a plus.
