Duties

• Prepare written reports for clients and insurance companies summarizing relevant facts and case analysis.
• Draft written motions and legal memoranda.
• Appear before judges in New York City, Long Island, and Upstate NY courts; handle discovery conferences and oral arguments.
• Conduct depositions and prepare reports on significant testimony.
• Prepare cases for trial.
• Maintain professional, succinct, and responsive communication with clients.

Requirements

• Admission to the New York bar is required.
• License in New Jersey is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• New York State Bar admission.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of premises liability, construction defect, product defect, and NY Labor Law cases.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prepare comprehensive legal documents and reports.
