Family Law Paralegal, Temporary
The candidate will assist and support the unit's attorneys with interviewing clients, drafting court pleadings and other case-related documents for review by the unit's attorneys, and working with the unit's attorneys to prepare clients for their hearings, including their uncontested divorce hearings, in the Worcester Probate and Family Court. The paralegal may also assist with CLA's translation and interpretation needs. The paralegal will also assist in the preparation of periodic grant reports. Should have Strong organizational, computer, and interpersonal skills. Background in family law is strongly preferred. Fluency in written and oral Spanish, Portuguese or Vietnamese is strongly preferred. Experience working with low-income communities is desirable.
