Job Overview

A law firm seeks a motivated and highly skilled Electrical Patent Agent to join their team in the Washington, DC Metro Area. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with leading global technology companies and stay at the forefront of patent law developments.

Duties

• Prosecute patent applications for global technology companies.
• Collaborate with clients and other professionals.
• Conduct case discussions with clients.
• Stay informed on the latest developments in patent law.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or equivalent.
• One to three years of patent prosecution experience as a licensed patent agent in semiconductor manufacturing, telecommunication, digital/analog signal processing, artificial intelligence, software, and/or circuit design.
• Registration to practice before the USPTO.
• Strong technical writing and analytical skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Fluency in Taiwanese Mandarin and extensive knowledge of Taiwan business culture strongly preferred.
