Duties

• Handle civil litigation matters from intake through resolution

• Manage assigned case files, including discovery, pleadings, and motions

• Conduct legal research and draft briefs, memoranda, and other legal documents

• Participate in pre-trial activities and hearings

• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court

• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff on strategy and case preparation

Requirements

• 2–5 years of civil litigation experience required

• Strong organizational and case management skills

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

• Excellent legal research and writing abilities

• Experience in federal and/or state courts preferred

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Must be licensed and in good standing to practice law in the State of Tennessee
