This role is ideal for a legal professional with hands-on experience in insurance defense matters, including premises liability, motor vehicle claims, personal injury protection (PIP), and New York Labor Law. Duties:

• Represent clients in various stages of litigation, including hearings, depositions, and trials

• Draft, review, and respond to legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and discovery

• Analyze case files and develop effective legal strategies

• Communicate with clients, insurance carriers, and opposing counsel

• Manage case files independently from inception through resolution

• Attend court proceedings throughout the state as required

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience handling insurance defense litigation matters

• Strong understanding of New York Labor Law, premises liability, auto claims, and PIP litigation

• Ability to manage a full caseload with minimal supervision

• Excellent analytical, writing, and negotiation skills

• Admitted to practice law in New York State

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active and in good standing with the New York State Bar

Skills:

• Effective legal research and writing proficiency

• Strong organizational and time management capabilities

• Clear and professional communication, both written and verbal

• Courtroom advocacy and deposition experience

• Proficiency in case management systems and legal research tools
