Requirements:

  • 2-6 years of legal experience.
  • Significant intellectual property (IP) experience, particularly in drafting and patent prosecution.
  • Educational background in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
  • Design engineering experience with a chip company is a plus.
  • Preference for candidates with expertise in networking, software, 3G/4G/5G wireless networks, or similar technologies.
  • Admitted to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
  • Bar licensure in California is a plus.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Bachelor or advanced degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the USPTO.

Skills:

  • Strong legal research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with inventors and technical experts.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of handling complex technical documents.
  • Proficient in drafting responses to Office Actions.
