Duties

• Represent clients in litigation matters, including insurance defense, construction, real estate, and contract disputes.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs with precision.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients, advocating for their best interests.
• Prepare for and attend court hearings, trials, and depositions as necessary.
• Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations relevant to cases.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff for comprehensive case management.
• Provide clients with clear communication regarding case progress and legal options.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Member of the Florida Bar, in good standing.
• Proven experience in litigation.
• Strong skills in legal research and writing.
• Excellent negotiation skills with a successful track record.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
