Duties:

• Draft legal documents related to family law cases, including motions, pleadings, and declarations

• Conduct legal research and apply findings to case strategies

• Represent clients in court proceedings and provide legal counsel throughout the process

• Prepare for trial by organizing materials and working with witnesses

• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel

• Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff

• Maintain detailed documentation of case activities and legal work

• Monitor updates in laws and court procedures affecting family law practice

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in California or ability to obtain licensure in a timely manner

• Familiarity with family law matters such as divorce, custody, and support

• Ability to manage legal research and draft well-organized legal documents

• Experience working in a law office setting

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities

• Effective written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the California State Bar (or eligible for admission within a reasonable timeframe)
