A law firm seeks a junior-level associate to join the Securities and Capital Markets Group in Washington, DC. This role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative team on diverse, multidisciplinary practices, engaging in business development and client-facing activities.

Duties

• Assist in handling debt and equity offerings, M&A transactions, and SEC compliance and reporting.
• Collaborate with shareholders and participate in business development initiatives.
• Engage in client-facing activities to enhance client service.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in corporate, securities, capital markets, and M&A at an AM Law 100 firm.
• Strong transactional skills and experience with securitizations and aviation clients preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Education

• J.D. degree with strong academic credentials.

Certifications

• Admitted and in good standing in Illinois, New York, District of Columbia, or Florida.
