A law firm seeks an experienced Of Counsel to join its Project & Energy Finance team, specializing in financing for energy transition and digital infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive project finance experience, focusing on energy and digital infrastructure.
Duties
- Work on complex financing transactions within the energy transition and digital infrastructure sectors.
- Draft and negotiate loan and security agreements, ensuring all necessary documents are prepared and executed.
- Coordinate complex project closings, ensuring all aspects of the transaction are addressed.
- Collaborate with a team of professionals to develop innovative financing solutions.
- Advise clients on legal issues related to project financing and energy transition strategies.
- Provide strategic guidance and legal support to clients throughout the lifecycle of their projects.
Requirements
- Minimum of 9 years of experience in project finance or related fields such as energy transition or digital infrastructure financing.
- Strong expertise in drafting and negotiating complex loan and security documentation.
- Proven ability to manage and execute complex project closings efficiently.
- Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Certifications
- Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
Skills
- Expertise in project finance transactions, particularly in energy transition and digital infrastructure sectors.
- Proficient in legal research and analysis.
- Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail.
