A law firm seeks a mid-level banking associate to join its US banking and loan finance team in Los Angeles, CA. The team represents lenders, private equity sponsors, and companies in lending transactions, including acquisition finance and asset-based lending.

Duties

• Work on a diverse portfolio of transactions for both borrowers and lenders.
• Engage in lines of credit, syndicated transactions, and direct lending.
• Participate in note purchase agreements and receivables financings.
• Contribute to equipment and structured financings.

Requirements

• Significant transactional experience in bank financing transactions.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective client interaction.
• Commitment to excellence and a collegial work environment.
• Preference for candidates in New York or Washington DC, but open to Los Angeles.

Education

• Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Member of the Bar in the United States.

Skills

• Experience with UCC matters.
