Casualty Senior Claims Specialist
Responsibilities: Handles complex, high exposure claims relative to Commercial General Liability, Liquor Liability, Completed Operations, Commercial Auto, Garage Keepers Liability, AE&O, EPLI, Homeowners Liability and Excess Umbrella Liability based on Claim Guidelines, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable. Presents cases to Sr. Management for reserving and direction, as required by Claim Guidelines. Verifies/analyzes applicable coverage for the reported loss. Evaluates, negotiates, and authorizes settlements with all stakeholders within designated authority. Selects, directs and manages Vendors/Counsel including approval of defense budgets. Maintains resident/nonresident adjuster licenses as required. Travel as required to handle catastrophic claims, attend mediations and settlement conferences. Perform other duties as assigned.
