A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Roswell, GA, for a fully remote position. The ideal candidate must be licensed and in good standing in Georgia, with a minimum of two years of experience as a practicing attorney. Preference will be given to candidates also licensed in AL, TX, or MS. The role involves title review, title curative responsibilities, and nonjudicial foreclosure tasks, requiring expertise in real estate law.

Duties

• Review title examinations and identify issues within 24-48 hours.
• Execute recommendations to cure title issues promptly.
• Evaluate and rectify file-level issues in pleadings and loan documents.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance in non-judicial foreclosure documents.
• Communicate effectively with insurers and external parties.
• Create and edit reports, opinions, and correspondence.
• Manage an independent caseload efficiently.
• Maintain strong relationships with insurers and vendors.
• Update case management systems accurately.

Requirements

• Active Georgia Law License and good standing with the Georgia State Bar.
• Minimum two years of experience in real estate and title review.
• Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local laws.
• Familiarity with Georgia Title Standards preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership with the Georgia State Bar.
