Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Senior Associate or Of Counsel for employment litigation in Atlanta, Georgia. The candidate will independently lead and manage single-plaintiff employment litigation matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination claims, as well as wage and hour matters under the Fair Labor Standards Act and related state laws.

Duties

• Lead and manage single-plaintiff employment litigation matters.
• Handle discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination claims.
• Manage wage and hour matters under FLSA and related state laws.
• Draft and respond to pleadings and discovery.
• Draft and argue motions.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Prepare matters for mediation, arbitration, and trial.

Requirements

• Significant employment litigation experience.
• Ability to manage all phases of litigation independently.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Strong writing and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Education

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Georgia Bar.
