Job Overview:
An established family law firm located in the Denver Tech Center (DTC) area is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to join its legal team. This position offers the opportunity to represent clients as lead counsel in a wide variety of family law matters. The ideal candidate is passionate about courtroom advocacy and eager to develop professionally in a collaborative and client-focused legal environment.

Location:

• Denver, Colorado

Duties:

• Represent clients in family law matters including:

  • Dissolution of marriage

  • Legal separation

  • Allocation of parental responsibilities

  • Child support

  • Post-decree modifications

  • Contempt of court proceedings

• Draft and file legal pleadings and motions

• Attend hearings, mediations, and trials as lead attorney

• Conduct legal research and case analysis

• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff on case strategy

• Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients

• Manage and organize case files effectively

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of family law experience preferred (motivated candidates with less experience will be considered)

• Willingness and ability to serve as lead counsel in court

• Excellent judgment and a high degree of professional responsibility

• Strong attention to detail and time management

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Colorado (required)

Skills:

• Strong legal writing and oral advocacy

• Effective courtroom presence and litigation skills

• Proficiency in legal research and case preparation

• Client-focused communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to manage multiple matters in a deadline-driven environment
