A law firm seeks a midlevel associate with four to six years of experience to join its Labor, Employment & Immigration practice in Los Angeles, CA. The associate will collaborate with a team of attorneys representing employers in various labor matters and workplace disputes, offering a chance to build a sophisticated labor practice with significant client contact and hands-on responsibility.

Duties

• Advise and represent employers in labor relations matters, including union organizing campaigns and collective bargaining.
• Support clients in proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, motions, and briefs.
• Participate in client counseling on labor and employment compliance issues.
• Collaborate with teams across offices on complex workplace matters.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through practical legal guidance.
• Contribute to business development initiatives and thought leadership opportunities.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction.
• Four to six years of relevant labor and employment experience.
• Experience handling traditional labor matters and advising on labor relations issues.
• Prior experience with the NLRB.
• Excellent legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• JD from an accredited law school.
