A law firm seeks a Senior Consumer Finance Regulatory Associate for its Atlanta office. The role involves working with a diverse range of clients across various industries, focusing on financial regulatory and compliance matters.

Duties

• Advise clients on mortgage lending, consumer finance, and commercial finance regulations.
• Provide guidance on alternative lending products and FinTech structures.
• Assist with state licensing and compliance with financial services laws.
• Engage in enforcement actions and payment systems matters.
• Conduct legal research and draft comprehensive legal documents.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial services regulatory and compliance.
• Experience with TILA, RESPA, UDAAP/UDAP, HMDA, FCRA, and FDCPA.
• Strong academic background and legal writing skills.
• Admitted to or eligible for admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
