A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney with Complex Personal Injury Experience in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 8 years of experience in complex litigation, with a focus on serious injury cases. This role involves handling a diverse caseload, including construction and workplace accidents, trucking and auto cases, product liability claims, and catastrophic injury and death claims, primarily in PA and NJ.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Analyze statutes, regulations, and case law to develop legal strategies.
• Draft pleadings, discovery requests, legal memoranda, motions, and briefs.
• Prepare clients and witnesses for depositions and court appearances.
• Take and defend depositions and appear in court.
• Participate in settlement negotiations and mediation.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on litigation strategy and filings.
• Investigate potential claims and handle cases from inception through trial.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed in PA and NJ.
• 4-8 years of experience in complex litigation, particularly catastrophic personal injury matters.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex litigation and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Strong writing skills and proficiency in pleading, motion, and discovery practice.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to professionalism and ethical conduct.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in PA and NJ.
