Job Duties:

• Represent hospitals, health systems, and other healthcare providers in litigation involving shareholder disputes, reimbursement lawsuits against significant health plans, and multiparty litigation.
• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, motions, and briefs.
• Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes with opposing counsel.
• Review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to healthcare litigation.
• Participate in arbitrations, mediations, settlement negotiations, and trials.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on healthcare laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in business-focused healthcare litigation, particularly with reimbursement litigation.
• Ability to manage and work on multiple cases simultaneously.
• California Bar license in good standing.
• Strong writing skills with the ability to draft clear and persuasive legal documents.
• Excellent academic credentials.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California Bar.
