Duties:

• Lead client representation in family law matters such as divorce, custody disputes, and modifications

• Maintain an active caseload while delivering high-quality legal counsel and advocacy

• Prepare, review, and file legal documentation

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and agreements

• Negotiate settlements and participate in litigation proceedings when necessary

• Contribute to case strategy development in collaboration with peers

• Maintain timely communication and professional relationships with clients

Requirements:

• Admission to and good standing with the Georgia State Bar

• Minimum of 5-10 years of recent, hands-on family law experience, particularly with litigation

• Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive cases with discretion and empathy

• Proven organizational, interpersonal, and written/verbal communication skills

• High level of commitment to client advocacy and legal ethics

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Georgia (required)

Skills:

• Proficiency in legal research and document preparation

• Strong courtroom presence and litigation abilities

• Collaborative mindset and capacity to thrive in team settings

• Familiarity with case management software and remote work tools
