Intellectual Property Patent Prosecution Associate

The candidate will have the opportunity to work on interesting, challenging, and groundbreaking technologies in collaboration with senior attorneys. Will also have the opportunity to become involved in patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secrets litigation. Preparation and prosecution of patent applications, including appeals before the BPAI, preparing patent non-infringement and invalidity analyses and opinions and conducting patent due diligence studies. Should have 2-4 years of patent litigation experience. Litigation experience in other intellectual property litigation matters, including trademark, copyright, trade dress, trade secrets, anti-counterfeiting, etc. would be helpful. Must have excellent academic credentials, analytical skills, and verbal and written communication skills. Preferred degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Material Science. Admission to the USPTO and admission to the North Carolina Bar, or the ability to waive into the North Carolina Bar, are also required.
