Job Overview

A law firm seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Attorney with strong transactional and regulatory experience to join their legal team in Atlanta, GA. This role involves supporting a broad range of business, compliance, regulatory, and litigation-related matters, working closely with firm leadership and clients to provide strategic legal guidance.

Duties

• Draft, review, and negotiate transactional documents, including contracts and agreements.
• Review business practices to ensure regulatory compliance and risk mitigation.
• Assist with regulatory analysis impacting client recovery and firm operations.
• Support firm-wide risk management and compliance initiatives.
• Coordinate with outside counsel and regulatory agencies as needed.
• Stay current on changes in applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Communicate regularly with clients, providing clear guidance and updates.
• Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and the management team.
• Participate in client intake, business development, and firm growth initiatives.

Requirements

• Active license to practice law in good standing in the State of Georgia.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant legal experience (transactional, regulatory, litigation, or a combination).
• Strong drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience advising businesses or organizations on compliance matters preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Bar license in the State of Georgia.
