Duties

• Manage U.S. and international trademark portfolios for clients across various sectors.
• Provide legal counsel on trademark clearance, prosecution, and routine enforcement strategies.
• Conduct investigations related to trademark infringement and resolve related disputes.
• Draft and review trademark-related documents, including filings, legal briefs, and opinions.
• Collaborate with senior team members to develop trademark strategies and handle client inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with trademark laws and regulations in multiple jurisdictions.
• Represent clients in opposition, cancellation proceedings, and trademark litigation matters.
• Maintain detailed records of case developments, deadlines, and client communications.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in trademark law, specifically in clearance, prosecution, and enforcement.
• Proven track record in managing global trademark portfolios.
• Excellent legal research and writing skills with attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Strong academic credentials.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Washington (or eligibility to waive in).
• Additional certifications or qualifications in intellectual property law are a plus.
