Job Overview

A law firm seeks a junior associate to join the Commercial Disputes practice in Pittsburgh, PA. The ideal candidate will have two to three years of experience in general commercial litigation, multi-district litigation, or class actions in state and federal courts. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced lawyers and gain increasing levels of responsibility and client contact.

Duties

• Conduct independent legal research.
• Draft substantive pleadings and motions.
• Organize and manage discovery practices, including e-discovery.

Requirements

• Two to three years of relevant litigation experience.
• Admitted to or eligible to sit for the Pennsylvania bar.
• Strong academic credentials and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Pennsylvania bar or eligibility to sit for the bar exam.
