Job Overview:
A respected law firm with multiple locations across Washington and Oregon is seeking a dedicated Family Law Associate Attorney to join its Vancouver office. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a motivated legal professional with an interest in litigation and alternative dispute resolution. The role involves supporting ongoing caseloads under the guidance of senior attorneys, contributing to a collaborative legal team, and pursuing exceptional results for clients in transition.

Location:

• Vancouver, WA

Duties:

• Assist in managing family law cases including litigation and dispute resolution

• Work under the supervision of a Principal or Managing Attorney

• Collaborate effectively with attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants

• Contribute to achieving successful outcomes for clients in family law matters

• Maintain billing requirements and meet performance expectations

• Represent clients in court and during negotiations as appropriate

Requirements:

• Interest in family law as a primary area of practice

• Admission to the Washington State Bar or eligibility pending examination results

• Demonstrated work ethic and organizational ability

• Strong interpersonal and collaborative team skills

• Willingness to engage with business professional groups and Bar associations

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active Washington State Bar license or Bar passage pending results

• Oregon Bar admission is a plus

Skills:

• Excellent legal research and writing capabilities

• Strong verbal communication and client interaction skills

• Bilingual ability is advantageous

• Experience in additional legal practice areas is a plus
