Duties

• Handle pre-suit case development, including evidence collection and organization.
• Draft and respond to discovery, manage document productions, and coordinate with clients and opposing counsel.
• Coordinate expert and lay witnesses, ensuring readiness and admissibility of testimony and documentation.
• Prepare pre-trial materials such as exhibit lists, witness lists, and trial binders.
• Provide in-court support during trials, including exhibit handling and case management.
• Participate in appellate advocacy, contributing to post-trial motions and appeals.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategy.

Requirements

• Recent law school graduate or newly admitted attorney licensed in Michigan preferred.
• Strong research, writing, and critical thinking skills.
• Proficient with Clio, Westlaw, Microsoft Office, and AI-powered legal tools.
• Organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple deadlines.
• Proactive and aggressive in approach, with strong problem-solving abilities.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Michigan.
