Duties

• Handle a wide range of civil litigation matters involving employment and business law

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and legal correspondence

• Conduct and defend depositions

• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials

• Advise business clients on compliance, corporate structuring, and legal strategy

• Manage multiple ongoing cases and meet all legal deadlines

• Collaborate with fellow attorneys and support staff to ensure high-quality legal representation

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of civil litigation experience

• Proven experience in employment and/or business law matters

• Capable of independently managing cases from intake to resolution or trial

• Strong client service skills and professional demeanor

• Must be a proactive team player with the ability to lead

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the state of California
