Duties

• Represent and defend clients in collection cases initiated by creditors or debt buyers.
• Provide limited-scope legal assistance, including reviewing and editing pro se answer drafts.
• Engage in debt resolution programs to settle through voluntary payment arrangements.
• Option to attend hearings or secure local coverage counsel when necessary.

Requirements

• Licensed and in good standing with the Florida Bar.
• At least 5 years of prior civil litigation experience.
• Experience in consumer debt defense and/or collections preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• License to practice law in the state of Florida.

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
