A law firm seeks an experienced Insurance Defense Litigation Associate Attorney in Cincinnati, OH. This role offers the opportunity to manage an active caseload of defense client files, including premises liability, auto/trucking, construction, fire, subrogation, and coverage cases. The position provides full partner support and the chance to work directly with the originating partner on every file.

Duties

• Handle an active book of existing defense client files.
• Conduct depositions, written discovery, and dispositive motions.
• Participate in mediations and trials with partner support.
• Collaborate with experienced paralegal and legal secretarial staff.

Requirements

• 5-12 years of Ohio civil or criminal litigation experience.
• Proven deposition, motion practice, and trial experience.
• Ability to manage a high-volume docket independently.
• Ohio bar membership in good standing.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Ohio.

Skills

• Strong litigation and trial advocacy skills.
• Excellent risk management and negotiation abilities.
• Proficient in evidence analysis and strategic litigation.
