Job Overview: A law firm seeks a Senior Municipal Law Attorney to provide legal counsel and representation to public agencies, including cities and special districts. Duties:

• Provide legal guidance to public agencies on complex issues including land use, contracts, and governance.
• Draft and review ordinances, resolutions, and policies to ensure compliance with state and federal laws.
• Attend administrative hearings, city council meetings, and planning commission meetings to represent clients.
• Collaborate with teams and clients to address challenges in public law and provide innovative solutions.
• Offer training to public agency staff on legal topics such as AB 1234 compliance.

Requirements:

• 20 years of municipal law legal practice experience.
• Strong research, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage projects independently while thriving in a team environment.
• Member in good standing with the NJ State Bar.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the NJ State Bar (in good standing).
