Job Overview: A prominent law firm is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney specializing in commercial real estate law. This role involves providing comprehensive legal services related to property transactions, contracts, and compliance matters. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience handling commercial real estate transactions, including contract drafting, negotiation, and due diligence. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment while delivering high-quality legal support to clients.

Duties:

• Draft and review real estate contracts, leases, easements, and other legal agreements.
• Conduct due diligence on real estate transactions, including title searches and inspections.
• Prepare and review closing documents and entity formation documents.
• Issue title commitments on behalf of national title insurance companies.
• Advise clients on legal aspects of real estate transactions and property law.
• Negotiate terms and conditions for real estate deals on behalf of clients.
• Ensure compliance with all legal requirements throughout the real estate transaction process.
• Oversee the closing of real estate transactions to ensure smooth execution.
• Stay current on real estate laws, regulations, and market trends impacting the industry.
• Work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and real estate professionals to meet client and firm objectives.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active member of The Florida Bar in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing commercial real estate law.
• Strong knowledge of real estate transactions, property law, and contract law.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Attention to detail and solid analytical abilities.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality legal services with successful outcomes for clients.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Florida.
