Duties:

• Handle family law cases in Divorce, Adoption, Child Custody, Child Support, Spousal Support, Mediation, and Appeals.
• Manage complex cases from start to finish, including mediations and trials (first chair or significant second chair experience required).
• Interact professionally, tactfully, and effectively with clients and opposing counsel.
• Demonstrate excellent written and analytical skills.
• Utilize knowledge of family law discovery, business books and records, tracing, and drafting contractual clauses.
• Represent clients from intake through trial.
• Prepare pleadings independently.
• Work well under pressure and manage workload effectively.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in a private practice family law firm.
• Trial experience.
• Ability to work in Bloomington, MN.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the State Bar in Minnesota.

Skills:
