Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Global Finance Associate specializing in Private Credit for its New York office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in asset-based lending transactions and a deep understanding of warehouse lending and asset-based financing.

Duties

• Draft and review transaction documents for asset-based financings.
• Lead asset-based warehouse financing transactions for borrower and lender clients.
• Prepare flow purchase agreements, loan and security agreements, and servicing agreements.
• Develop governing documents for SPV issuers and related legal opinions.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of experience in asset-based lending transactions.
• Familiarity with acquisition and financing of consumer loans, mortgages, and private fund interests.
• Admitted or eligible for admission to the New York bar.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar.

• Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage complex transactions independently.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
