A law firm seeks an associate with two to four years of experience to join their Technology Transactions team in Miami, FL. This role offers an opportunity to collaborate with experienced advisors, supporting life sciences and tech companies in shaping IP strategies and facilitating key agreements.

Duties

• Draft, review, and negotiate collaboration, partnering, licensing, and other commercial agreements.
• Provide expert guidance on product strategy, development, and market positioning for technology companies.
• Advise clients on corporate partnerships, strategic alliances, and licensing agreements.
• Assist in navigating IP and technology aspects of complex M&A transactions and venture capital financings.
• Conduct research and analysis on diverse technologies, including AI, fintech, and biotechnology.

Requirements

• At least two years of legal experience in IP and technology transactions.
• Strong interest in technology transactions for M&A matters and emerging company clients.
• Excellent research, analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
• Commitment to excellence and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• JD is required.

Certifications

• Admission to the state bar of the office location.
