A law firm seeks a highly qualified Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Chicago, IL office. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in professional liability, employment, medical malpractice, and general casualty defense. An active Illinois license is required, with Indiana and/or Wisconsin licenses considered a plus.

Duties

• Represent clients in litigation matters, including professional liability and general casualty defense.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Participate in discovery and trial preparation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant litigation experience.
• Active Illinois law license; Indiana and/or Wisconsin licenses are advantageous.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Illinois.
