Duties

• Represent clients in insurance defense and civil litigation cases, including:
  • Auto liability
  • Premises liability
  • Professional and general liability
  • Medical and dental malpractice
• Prepare and litigate complex cases from inception to resolution
• Attend court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials (in-person and virtually)
• Develop and execute strategic case plans
• Conduct legal research, draft motions, pleadings, and briefs
• Negotiate settlements and litigate disputes
• Provide mentorship and collaborate with junior attorneys and legal staff
• Maintain strong client communication and case management

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in insurance defense or equivalent litigation experience
• Active member in good standing with the California or Nevada State Bar
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently
• Strong oral advocacy and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in legal writing, research, and litigation technology
• Ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

• Active California or Nevada State Bar license (Required)
