Duties

• Advise and represent clients in environmental and water law matters.
• Prepare discovery and pleadings for litigation or adversarial proceedings.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis.
• Draft client memorandums and law and motion work.
• Manage and respond to written discovery with limited supervision.
• Interface with clients to convey professionalism and competence.
• Develop strategic plans and courses of action for legal matters.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of experience in environmental and/or water law.
• Experience with public sector clients preferred.
• Knowledge of the Brown Act, Public Records Act, and Conflicts of Interest.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the State Bar of California.
