An established national law firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Real Estate practice group in Phoenix. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced real estate attorney who enjoys working on complex transactions for a broad range of institutional and private clients. The role involves hands-on drafting, negotiation, and management of all aspects of commercial real estate deals. Location:

• Phoenix, AZ

Duties:

• Draft and negotiate legal documents related to commercial real estate transactions

• Manage deals involving property development, acquisitions, sales, and leasing

• Handle real estate secured loan documentation, modifications, and workouts

• Conduct and oversee due diligence for real estate deals

• Facilitate and coordinate transaction closings

• Collaborate with attorneys across offices in a national real estate group

• Maintain direct communication with clients, developers, lenders, and institutional investors

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial real estate law

• Strong drafting and negotiation skills

• Proven ability to manage complex transactions from inception to closing

• Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative legal team

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

• Strong academic credentials

Certifications:

• Admission to the State Bar of Arizona (or eligibility to become admitted promptly)

Skills:

• Expertise in commercial real estate transactional work

• Familiarity with REITs, private equity investors, institutional lenders, and developers

• Effective communication and relationship management skills

• Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail

• Capable of mentoring junior attorneys and managing client expectations
