A law firm is currently seeking a Healthcare Attorney for a position located in Santa Barbara, CA.

Job Overview:

The Healthcare Attorney will provide legal counsel and support to the law firm's clients in the healthcare industry. The ideal candidate should possess at least 5 years of quality healthcare experience, with a preference for expertise in healthcare compliance. Admission to practice law in California and/or Arizona is ideal, but admission in other states may be considered.

Duties:

• Provide legal advice and representation to healthcare clients on various legal matters.
• Stay abreast of changes in healthcare laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to healthcare services.
• Conduct legal research on healthcare issues and provide guidance based on findings.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to address legal concerns.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in healthcare law.
• Preferred experience in healthcare compliance.
• Admission to practice law in California and/or Arizona (admission in other states may be considered).

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Any relevant certifications in healthcare law or compliance are a plus.

Skills:

• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
