A well-established law firm based in downtown San Antonio is seeking a full-time Civil Litigation Attorney with at least 5 years of experience. This role is ideal for a seasoned litigator with a background in bodily injury defense, construction defect, insurance defense, and civil trial work. The position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of legal matters, including collection and oil and gas litigation, in a setting that values autonomy and professional growth.

Location:

• San Antonio, TX

Duties:

• Draft legal motions and manage all aspects of litigation

• Conduct depositions, oral arguments, and court hearings

• Represent clients in civil litigation matters from case inception through trial

• Negotiate settlements and manage reporting obligations for clients

• Handle court appearances and assignments independently with minimal supervision

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of civil litigation experience

• Experience in bodily injury defense, construction defect, and insurance defense

• Additional experience in collections and oil and gas litigation is a plus

• Strong understanding of Texas civil procedure and trial practice

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed and in good standing to practice law in the state of Texas

Skills:

• Strong oral and written advocacy skills

• Ability to manage multiple cases independently
